The Charity Newsies mission

Our mission is that no child be kept out of school for lack of adequate clothing. Newsies completes that mission by purchasing new apparel and distributing it free of charge to school children in Franklin County, Ohio.

Thanks to the support of the citizens of Franklin County, Charity Newsies clothed over 14,000 school children in the 2007 – 2008 School Year!

Charity Newsies Operations 2008-09 School Year

Charity Newsies will begin taking applications for the 2008-2009 School Year on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 9:00 AM. Hours of operation will be Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM. In addition, beginning Monday September 8, 2008, Charity Newsies will also be open (for applications only) on Monday and Wednesday Evenings from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM.

Charity Newsies is coming to a library near you

Charity Newsies On The Road will be taking applications on Saturdays at the following locations, on the dates as noted below. Hours of operation will be 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM for all dates.
