Kathy joined the Charity Newsie in 1997. Growing up in Columbus she was welaware of the Charity Newsie presence in the Community and always had an interest to serve. An opportunity to serve came through John Walter a close family friend and Dave Parker, both active Newsies who sponsored her for membership.
She served for five years as Corresponding Secretary and one year as Board Trustee. Kathy is Chairman of the Member Golf Outing Committee and serves on the Human Resource Committee, Evaluation Committee and Drive Day Logistics Committee.
Kathy is an Association Manager with CompManagement, Inc a Sedgwick CMS Company. She has assisted with the United Way Campaigns and Operation Feed.
Kathy is also an active member of the Shamrock Club of Columbus and volunteers for many activities involving the Irish Community in Columbus. Kathy was born in Columbus and grew up on the “Hilltop” graduating from Columbus West High School.
Kathy and her husband Mike have been married for 35 years. They have one son, Patrick.
